Well, I have almost completed my memoirs and the new science fiction book is 1/4 done. China seems to be the perfect place to write, as I have become so prolific at it in the last month and half.
I think some of the reason I am writing so much, is that I find myself having so much to say, but no one has the time to listen. I never liked small talk, even as a kid. I always wanted to talk about something meaningful. That hasn’t changed, but the stories have become more complicated, or maybe I just see more complication in them. In any case, the back story for my points of view and general points I want to make have become too large and complicated to say to someone on an average day. And it seems that everyday here is an average day, too filled with the everyday tasks, distractions or too noisy to really talk. And then there is of course the language barrier.
The last place I was able to have long deep conversations was in my 5th floor living room and I miss that, but even if I went back, those people are now gone. Discussions of human emotion cycles and charts, talk of neutron detection, etc…you people know who you are!
Guess the point here is that I hope now everyone will benefit from what I write and maybe this will spark more deep conversations in the future.
I can’t believe it, but it looks like I will be publishing at least 3 books this summer, so add them to your wish list!
