Why I like you more than a rose.

You are more beautiful than a rose,

I think of you even when I dose,

I hardly ever dream of a flower,

You just have far more power.

As you can see from exhibit A,

You are far more of a beaut’ay,

If more evidence you need,

Then questions you may plead,

As rose will just sit,

But she is sure to wit.

For she is not just better on the outside,

She is also more gorgeous on the inside,

Brilliant mind,

Very kind.

A rose may have petals of satin,

But it can’t learn Latin,

She has skin of silk

She keeps me from milk

She’s not just my beautiful mate,

And a fine engineer for the state,

But she keeps me safe, loved and feeling great!

So take your rose,

My argument I close.
